AE86 builds and some new parts

hi, so as mentioned in the last post, here goes another ae86 build, a hatch this time. honestly i was kinda bored of my previous hatch, maybe because ive been doing pandas in gta for years, dunno lel. in any case i decided to change it up abit and keep it extremely simple this time. went for the kouki ae85 look with unpainted bumpers and no fancy parts other than the oem rear spoiler, even the blue metallic it haz is based on actual ae85, tho irl, from factory it was only on zenkis, lel. while it looks like ae85 it still have NA 4a-ge, making somewhere around 190hp. i think it ended up really good :D.

and since im doing yet another ae86 related post, i may also do an update on my yellow coupe. you probably noticed it looks nothing like it did in its original post in my parts relase pictures. this one is one of, if not the most used build of mine, so i keep toying with it haha. decided to turn it into kouki aswell, for a while now its also 3t-gte swapped and makes makes around 220hp. other than that it now also have oem sideskirts, tbo front bumper and bonnet, evo 4 pattern recaros and a load of stickers all over the place. still one of my favorite builds i did haha.

in the header i mentioned new parts. the tbo stuff is new, so here it is:

A31

hi, so i figured its about time i build something new again, lel. decided to go with a31 as i havent done in a hot minute aswell. kept it pretty simple once again, red paint, tbo front bumper, autech sideskirts, rear bumper and spoiler, color matched grill and ssr longchamps. engine has been swapped for rb25det, but still makes reasonable 280hp, haha.

all in all im pretty happy with how this one turned out :D.

ofcourse damn near nothing from the stuff i used to build this one is in the game, so i just had to go and make it all myself...as per usual, lel. so here it goes:

a31 autech bodykit

autech bodykit for cefiro made from scratch by me. contains front and rear bumpers, sideskirts and rear spoiler. brake light in the spoiler and licence plate lights are functional.

the ingame exhausts dont line up with the bumper cutout, so use some modded exhausts instead, for example NOISY box exhaust v2 pack that can be found at hipshake discord , wich is also what i used.

a31 TBO front bumper

tbo front bumper for cefiro, made from scratch by me. besides the bumper itself i also included a simple licence plate bracket in case you want to keep the plate in its original spot ( lines up with my autech stuff so if you switch between autech and tbo bumper or vice versa, you dont have to touch the plate at all)

ae86 levin parts

hi, so as promised, heres all the new ae86 stuff :D. ive been working on this for over a week now and honestly it kinda snowballed and took way longer than expected, but what can you do i guess lol. i made 2 pack of parts, one is new lights and grilles, now that we can do actually working lights i figured its about time to do it right, and while i was in there, i also made a second pack containing various fixes, new front bumpers etc. and also a better version of my goodline front bumper, lel. pretty much everything is made from scratch or remodelled from original carx assets.

despite all of it taking so long, im really happy with how all of it turned out, was worth it haha. so here it is:

ae86 levin new lights

new version of my lights for levin. im not even gonna call this a v2, as its literally all different now lol. all of it works and theyre an actual replacements for stock ingame lights, so first choose the "empty" headlights/taillings before fitting them. contains every oem light and grill configuration a levin could have except zenki 3door tails, as theres sadly no way to remove the original kouki plate garnish.

also still contains the new zenki front bumper indicators, now edited so they fit both 3door and 2door bumpers propertly.

not everything is pictured, contains around 15 parts.

not a dirrect fit this time, you will have to set Y coord to 0. done it this way to ensure the parts land exactly where they should on both 2door and 3door (thank you carx devs for making 2door to have a different Y coord than 3door, lol)

ae86 levin improvements

really no idea what to name this again lol. this pack combines about everything ive done for ae86 so far and also some new things.

includes new zenki and kouki front bumpers and theyr lips. both bumpers also come in 2 variants, a solid color and a panda scheme. kouki comes with 2 lips, the actual kouki one, and a zenki one fitted to kouki bumper wich is pretty popular. i also left the old stock ingame lip overlay in there, in case you dont want to use my bumpers for livery purposes or something.

also contains my paintable sidetrim, these now work propertly on both 3door and 2door. theres also windshield sprayers and oem mirrors(both plastic and paintable), as those 2 things are missing on 2door.

mudflaps now fit propertly on both 3door and 2door, i decided not to include the trueno ones to keep this pack a levin only, might relase them separately or something. but ive atleast added a paintable variant aswell

some new and updated parts once again

hi, while i sayd that next up is gonna be some ae86 stuff, it all takes abit longer than expected, and also kino did yet another update, that allows us to create even more stuff, such as actually functional car parts, selectable in the parts catalog :D. so i took a slight break from ae86 and focused on that for a bit.

similary to the new wheels, just put the .knpp file into KN_Base\car_parts and select the parts in the catalog. so here we go:

Nardi Classic pack

suppose were gonna see about 17 bilion nardi classics now that the working custom steering wheels are a thing, but i still wanted to bring my one that ive been using in gta for over 10 years to carx aswell, lel

originally from rfactor, but i have remodeled it quite a bit over the years

silver and black variant availible, not paintable

when you pick either of them in the catalog, the chrome ring around the horn button have some weird texture that does not belong there, once you get on track it appears as it should. probably some kino bug.

Recaro SR3 pack v2

v2 of my recaro pack. adapted to the kino working car parts feature, so you just pick them up in the catalog now. i also added 2 new patterns, HKS and old nismo ones.

also i cant exactly line them up for a screenshot ingame like i could with v1, so a shitty zmodeler viewport screenshot will have to do now lmfao

Cibie Airport 35 pack v2

adapted to the kino's new custom light functionality, so they actually work now. they turn on toghether with running lights.

besides that i also ditched the L/R setup and theres just one in the middle now, imho makes it easyer to fit them.

s14 zenki pack v2

v2 of my zenki pack. the headlights, foglights and brakelights in the spoilers are now fully functional, other than that i also edited the grilles allitle bit so you can see the radiator behind them as you should. i also added zenki badges and the part names in the list looks much more tidyer now, and some other not so important things. this version contains 20 parts.

theres a few things to know:

-sadly you cant just copy the body color and its there, you will have to play with it and make it abit darker. thats a bug that happens to about all paintable custom parts and i cant do nothing about it.

-to use any of the sideskirts included in this pack, first select any aftermarket sideskirts in the catalog, and then disable them in kino

-unlike the v1, actually get rid of the kouki lights this time. select the "empty" ones in the catalog, do not disable them via kino, it doesnt work propertly.

-the side badges dont fit toghether with navan sideskirts (or probably any sideskirts lol), thats not a bug, nissan didnt put those on navan cars, so i havent bothered doing them, lol

yabitu touge (carx)

hi, so as mentioned in the last post, im back with another map, this time yabitu touge, originally made by TAKAHIRO for rfactor :D. i actually done this map once before for gta, while its pretty short i still quite like it, so i decided to get it in carx aswell. truth to be told, i havent converted it fully, this was originally converted by SAYAKA years ago but it never got finished and relased. after i got it i figured i might aswell finish it myself, lel.

besides the same things i fixed on the gta one, such as some uv map issues and stuff like this, i also remodelled pretty much the entire grass aera and added a bunch of tree lines to make it look like its not a floating road in a void. i also reworked the powerlines abit to make them look nicer, and other small stuff like that.

this is actually a first carx map i messed with, even before hiroshima and nikko. after these 2 i figured to come back to yabitu and do some changes to make it right as i figured out some things with the other 2 haha.

all in all i think it ended up pretty good and despite its very short lenght, its real fun to drive on :D.

jzx100 cresta and some wheel updates

hi, after few maps its time for another build, lel. i wanted to build a big body car this time around, carx have quite a few to choose from, so i decided to go with jxz100 cresta, as i never done one of those before, lel. this time around theres also essentially no custom parts for once, other than the obligatory ultranorsk and my recaro seat, even the wheels are the game's original assets, atleast for now haha. look wise its pretty simple, oem twotone paint, bnsports half kit, and some stickers here and there, and thats about it really, power wise, its once again relativelly low hp as per usual, making around 300hp. i think it ended up pretty good :D.

i actually started this one even before the zenki s14, as i was waiting for the sticker pack update to really finish it the way i wanted haha.

now, in the header i mentioned wheel updates. kino mod have relased an update that, besides other things improves the custom wheels. theyre much easyer to install now, they sync now if you play online (aslong as the other ppls have it installed aswell, and if they dont you can set a similar original wheel to show instead), you can make custom icons for them for the menu, and also theyre encrypted now, very nice.

so ofcourse i went and updated all the wheels i made so far to this :D. installation now is really easy, just put the .knpp file into KN_Base\car_parts folder and its there. i also took the downloads of the old fbx versions down, by the way.

besides adapting them to the new system, i also made a menu icons for all of them and fixed all the weird shadow bugs they had when the wheel wasnt on direct sunlight.

theres like 5 different variants of te37s ingame already bud all of it sucks, so i made more reasonable 14/15" ones with 4lug and low offset. base of the rim is from nfs shift 2 but i essentially remodeled the entire thing. paintable
