mazda familia 1.5XG

hi, so here goes another thing i done few months ago, a mazda familia bd, in an actual 1.5XG trim :D.

i made this model from scratch for stuner about 2 years ago, but i have been changing it and making new aftermarket parts for it ever since. now that im back at gta, i figured i want to bring that one to gta aswell, and here we are :D. not going to do the typical what i did on it segment, as i did everything on it really lol, but just some notes:

-fully from scratch by me, only things that arent by me, but edited quite a bit anyway are the tires and brake rotors, licence plates, interiror mirror, pedals and partially front seats lol. exterior mirrors are by me too, but for a different stuner car lel.

-even tho i made the interior yet for stuner, i had to rework it quite a bit again to make it look good in gta, added a bunch of missing details, the fabric texture on the seats is the correct one the XG should have, etc.

-for gta i also had to make the engine. honestly i think its one of best engines i did on my own, not just a flat surface with photo like back in the day, its semi 3d haha

-made 4 extra parts, 1 is volk aero front halfbumper. 2 is a boot spoiler, i believe its from love lark. 3 is a pioneer audio system, my old ts-x7 parcelshelf speakers, and aditional tape deck, equalizer and amplifier on the dashboard. 4 combines the 1-3 togheter, + it also got a lonesone carboy sticker on the rear window and volk aero sticker on the half bumper, that changes the color based on what color the car have so its allways vissible :D

-proper colors, based on brochures etc

-proper colision so rain shows correctly on it, a thing i used to somehow ignore for years lol

-adapted to ivlm and steering.cs

also, since posting this one on my INSTAGRAM, i actually made few small tweaks on it and then took new pics lol. fixed 2 small bugs i found, changed the tire, its still the same tire ive been using on stock cars for years, but i reworked it abit, so i decided to update it here too, added the heater lines to the rear window, and changed one small thing with ivlm, as i figured how to make it even better haha.

...and i think thats about it really, im really happy with how this one turned out :D. i made quite alot of stuff like this for stuner, eventually id like to get it all to gta, but at this pace it gonna take years lmfao, oh well.

so yeah, thats all for now, so see you next time ;D.

tokyo tower...again

hi, so there is another thing i made in the past half year, a tokyo tower in salc :D.

as i mentioned in the last post, when i begun to play sa again, i actually started with salc again. i done the tokyo tower once before over 8 years ago, using some old and kind of shitty model out of google sketchup lmao. someone (sorry, dont really remember who), send me this model of tokyo tower years ago, i dont know where it is from, but its really nice. and now that i was back at salc, i figured its about time to do it again and better :D.

and thats exactly what i did haha. compared to the one 8 years ago, its way better in every aspect. this time around its all just replacement dffs, no new stuff was added. its about 8 dffs as lots of things overlap in this area, besides the ground (wich i made new, didnt reused the ground i made back then) and the original building itself theres also trees, trees shadow, night window glow, lods etc. i modifyed it all to make it fit as best as i could in there :D. ofcourse i also made a prelight and colisions, and i also added few 2DFX at the top so it looks better at night :D.

so yeah, thats about it really, since i moved back to original san andreas rather soon, one day id like to bring it into the san andreas too, but i cant really figure out where to place it there lol, maybe one day i get a good idea haha.

and so thats all this time, still a bunch of stuff left to post, so see you soon ;D.

yabitu touge

hi, so its time to start catching up with the new stuff i did in the last half year that i havent posted on the blog :D.

lets start with the oldest one. a convert of yabitu touge, originally made by TAKAHIRO for rfactor.

when i restarted playing, i kinda felt like making a new map, but since i havent done a map in years i wanted something short and simple for the start, and this one was perfect :D. its very well made so i didnt have to do much bug fixing. since its rather small, it actually fits into the 1dff size limit, wich i like.

so anyway, what i did with it:

- converted to sa

-remodeled the map edge, so its an actual new island instead of a floating road, just the way i like it haha

- proper prelight, bright at day, dark at night etc. i also figured out how to make trees look way better than on my old maps too

-lod model

-some small bugfixes and changes here and there, nothing major tho

-it uses 6 dffs, even tho the map fits in the 1dff size limit, it certainly doesnt fit into the polygon limit as its rather high poly. so i did a similar thing i did with the hakone convert, i have split it into the main dff, trees dff and so on. all of the dffs use the same coords so its just as easy to place the map ingame as if it was just one dff. i kinda like this method and i used it on 2 more maps i done since this one haha.

i think i should also mention that when i restarted playing, i actually started with sa:lc instead of sa again, and i originally made this one for the salc. but i got bored of salc, or better say its bugs that i used to ignore years ago rather fast, so i switched back to sa, so i have edited the map once again to make it work and look good on the regular sa :D.

also, besides open limit adjuster im also using an fastmans limit adjuster now, mainly because its capable of removing the map boundaryes, so i can now place new maps about anywhere without worrying they will dissapear like they used to. im taking an advantage of this quite a bit with my recent maps hahaha.

so yeah, i think thats about it really, a simple project, and even tho the map is rather short, its really fun, and it can be kinda tricky too :D.

now, i know that tipically i relased most of my maps, but i decided im not going to be doing that anymore. reason being i cant really be bothered dealing with onedrive uploads and i dont feel like searching for a new uploader, but mainly i just somehow...dont feel like it anymore, lol. maybe i will change my mind about it sometime, but well see.

so yeah, i think thats all for now, i still have a bunch of stuff to post about, so see you, hopefully, soon ;D.

PS: if you remember the post about this at the INSTAGRAM, you might notice the pics are different. i actually changed the location of the map since posting about it originally, so i took new ones. i did the same with the other 2 maps that are coming here soon too haha.

certified bruh moment.

...like seriously, how many times i have now retired either from gta modding or this blog as a whole and yet i allways end up coming back lmao...

but anyway hi, its been a while. yeah, i guess im back for time being, how long it will last this time, well see hahaha. what i was up to since the last time i dont hear you ask, well, i bought and sold more irl cars than an average person in theyr life owned, and also i finally, after like 13 years got a new computer.

for the past half year or so i have been playing and modding gta quite alot again, by the way, i never deleted my game, i still use the same modded gta i use for like 8 years now, just changed some stuff here and there. the new pc is one of main causes of it actually, the old one could barely handle a modded SA at this point, now the game plays so smooth that i actually have to use frame limiter, and it also looks better than ever before, as after all these years, antialiasing finally works propertly haha.

now about why i even decided to restart the blog when im well avare that basically noone cares about them anymore. well you see, i actually use the blog quite a bit. I still have about every mod i ever done, but when we talk modding and stuff on discord or something, and i want to use some of my older work as a refference, its much easyer to go to the blog and find the picture here, rather than digging trough hundreds of rars to find it lmao. basically you could say i have been using the blog as a database of my work of somesorts i guess. i also noticed whenever i post something gta related on the INSTAGRAM, theres allways more visitors on the blog too, so i guess someone actually still cares about this place, maybe, lmao.

...and honestly, it kinda feels weird to not post the new stuff here too, guess im abit too oldschool about that really lol.

i will still be prioritizing the INSTAGRAM (wow, second ig plug in one post, nice) to post the new stuff, it might take a while before it appears here too lel.

so yeah, i will be catching up and posting the new stuff i done in the past half year in the following days...weeks...months...you know how it goes with me lol, but it will show up here eventually. if you follow me on the INSTAGRAM (3rd time, even nicer) you already seen it all, but as i mentioned, i just want to have it all in one place lel.

also i think for the future, im just not going to announce i quit or whatever, and just dissapear into the void like everyone else, so i dont look like an idiot when i randomly come back after years lmfao.

aaaand also jesus fuck, this was supposed to be a quick "hey im back" post, not another book lenght piece of text, some things really never change lol.

so yeah, see you (hopefully) soon with something new ;).

PS: the pic below the text is from SA, and shows one of new things to come, haha.

i think this is it...

hey, its been a while, again...

theres something i have on my mind for a while now. this might really be a last post on this blog.

i know i know, i announced i quit several times already and allways ended up coming back, but this time its different. this time i dont quit with 3d as a whole, as i still enjoy it ocasionally, this time i think its time to quit posting here and move on elsewhere.

you see, there were times when i finished a mod and i was just itching to post about it here, but that feeling is gone for a few years now...now i post there more or less only because it allways was like this, honestly i dont really even enjoy it anymore...good example of that is the wr2 convert of tuned levin you see under this text, i finished that convert over 8 months ago and i still didnt felt like posting about it here...if someone wonder, this is that "one more thing to post about" i mentioned in last post...

i know why is that. lets face the facts. mod blogs are dead. have a look into the blog roll for example. blogs that once used to be very active are now dead for years, shoutboxes is dead, noone cares about blogs anymore. its sad, but that how it is...

i simply came to conclusion that its pointless to keep posting anything here, since noone cares, even me by now.

it also feels like over the years, i made this blog too restricted to be around modding, even tho i like to post my real life stuff aswell, i just never really felt like this is a right place to post that stuff here...ofcourse i could change that, but theres no point in that now anyway.

now, i sayd that id like to move elsewhere. but where? thats pretty easy. instagram.

i have my instagram profile for a few years now, i post pretty much anything from my modding to real life stuff there, and i enjoy it alot. about same like i used to enjoy post here. instagram just replaced this place for me completely by now.

so, if you want to keep following what im up to, i invite you to check MY INSTAGRAM PROFILE ;).

now, what about this blog? even tho this is probably last post ever, i going to keep it up and running. after all, its over 10 years of my life, it feels too nostalgic to just delete it...and who knows, maybe one time i will feel like posting something here again...but at this point, i seriously doubt it.

and thats it. id like to thank all of you for reading my blog over the years, id never thought it will last this long, but everything gotta end one day. thank you very much, and i will hopefully see you at instagram ;).

good bye ;).

EDIT 2.11.2020: i guess not then, lmfao

ae86 levin...tuned.

oh hey, so after many months since i finished this one i finally got myself to post about the tuned version of the levin i mentioned in the previous 2 posts lmao...

as i mentioned in the stock levin v3 post, i originally wanted to just make a tuned version based on v2, infact i actually did, but once i realised how bad the v2 is, i deleted it, did the v3 and did pretty much exact same thing based on the v3 lel.

i wanted to make something simple again, a rather street car with 90s vibe to it. so whats different from stock version:

exterior:

-aero parts, oem lip, oem sideskirts, ductail spoiler
-FET foglights
-oem grille with gold stripes
-some stickers here and there
-the car doesnt use carcol anymore, its allways white/black now
-tom's igeta wheels by me

interior:

-recaro sr3 from SURGE, but slightly edited, completely retextured, the pattern they have is one of actual sr3 patterns
-nardi steering wheel originally from original rfactor levin that i remodeled for my tuned onevia. this time it have a silver spokes tho
-pioneer ts-x7 speakers by me at the parcelshelf
-oem digital gauges
-some small stuff, ultranorsk at the mirror, cocacola can in a holder, cigarretes in the centre console

engine:

-tuned 4a-ge, its an original engine model from the rfactor levin, but reworked abit

and thats pretty much all, as i sayd, i wanted to make something simplyer again, and i think it ended up pretty well, im pretty happy about the result :D.

and so, thats all for now. i still have one more thing to post, something closely related to this levin, so see you (hopefully) soon :).

tom's igeta

hey, so after a long, long while i made another aftermarket wheel from scratch :D. well actually i did it over 8 months ago, after i finished the levin from the last post lol, but just like with the levin, i just didnt got myself to post about it lmao...

i know there are some igeta models already, but i didnt found this exact type, even tho i feel like its the most usual one...i wanted to use this type for the tuned levin based on the new model, so i had to do it myself lel. credit goes to SURGE, from wich i used the brake rotor and centre nut, but with slight edit by me.

so that would be all for now, next post will finally be the tuned version of the levin, so see you again soon ;).
